Wanted to try something new in 2022 but ran out of time? Think you might have a flair for coding but no idea where to test your skills? Sparta Global virtual Codemas workshops provide a practical, fun and safe environment to learn!

C# was inspired by languages like C, C++ and Java, but the designers took the best parts of them and innovated further by introducing new concepts! The C# language is easy to learn because by learning a small subset of the language you can immediately start to write useful code. More advanced features can be learnt as you become more proficient, but you are not forced to learn them to get up and running.

Whether you're an experienced data warehouse elf or a Dunder-headed Ninny Muggins, we're sure you will get some great gifts out of this coding workshop.

Absolutely no prior programming experience is required, as long as you’re ready to learn.

 

What you'll learn

Join us for a 4-week course, where you will be learning how to code in C# in fun Christmas-themed environments (with or without previous coding experience).

The workshops will be led by Sparta Global trainers, Catherine French and Nish Mandal.

 

Weekly sessions:

Week 1| Wednesday 30th November : Santas Christmas Emporium (4-6pm)

Week 2 | Wednesday 7th December : Sorting Who’s Naughty or Nice (4-6pm)

Week 3 | Wednesday 14th December : Automated Shopping Experience (4-6pm)

Week 4 | Wednesday 21st December : Santas Website (4-6pm)

 

Please note: Due to the number of attendees expected, this will be a lecture-styled workshop. We will ensure there is a chatroom available for attendees to ask questions and have discussion. Every weekly session will be recorded. By signing up, you will have access to these recordings , even if you are not available during the time of the live event.
