With a strong technology background and impressive delivery record spanning 25 years, Mark joins Sparta Global to enhance the operational and change agenda across its growing client base in finance. To date, Mark has led technology teams at Lloyds Banking Group and HSBC, guiding global people teams of more than 700 people focusing on engineering excellence by introducing and driving organisational transformations, including DevSecOps, agile ways of working and tooling, In addition to leading the delivery and maintenance of critical banking services that are tier zero (24/7) for Wholesale Payment solutions using direct communication channels and API portals. Mark has also implemented several Global Markets Trading applications across all asset classes and built a successful professional services consultancy in the APAC region focusing on Capital Markets products.

In the financial services industry, Sparta Global has established itself as a key player by supplying skilled technology and business professionals to major UK banks and financial organisations. The company has met all requirements to become fully registered within the Financial Supplier Qualification System (FSQS), a standard used by these institutions when selecting suppliers.
