Apply to take the first step in your new tech career. Successful spartans are hired on their attitude, aptitude and potential for success. You do not need a degree or to come from a STEM background, simply show us your passion for technology, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Apply and our team will be in touch!
The first 8-10 weeks of your employment will be 8-10 weeks of training in your chosen specialism. You'll join a group of like-minded proffessionals and complete learning pathways that promise to bring you up to speed on the key methodologies and technologies associated with your chosen area. Our training is led by industry-experienced trainers and you’ll benefit from our collaborative and inclusive Spartan community where you’ll be sure to build friendships for life.

After completing your training, you'll be assigned to work on a digital project with our client. We have Spartans working across more than 100 organisations within government, sport, media, finance, entertainment and more - and any one of these organisations could be the place where you kickstart your career!
Working as a Spartan will be exciting, fast-paced and incredibly rewarding, and our support doesn’t stop when you begin working on client site. Our dedicated Engagement coordinators will check in regularly to provide continuous access to pastoral and proffessional support. Continuous learning is also key to your success. Through our partnership with Udemy, we give all Spartans access to ongoing development and learning based on the careers they want to build.

Spartan contracts are 24 months. At the completion of this period - the next step is your decision. Most of our Spartans convert to permanent employees with the clients we have assigned them to work with, but you could also choose to remain a Spartan consultant (in a more senior role with increased pay), or look to secure a role in a new company.

Before joining Sparta Global, I had played for the under-18 national football team in my native Estonia. I then elected to study Politics in England before being introduced to Sparta Global. After training as a Business Analyst, I was assigned to work as a Scrum Master in a major energy company. It's very exciting and I really enjoy it! I’ve been interested in computers and technology for as long as I can remember. But, after GCSEs, A Levels, and my degree, I can honestly say the hardest part was trying to get a job at the end. After months and months of applying for dozens of roles, I felt a huge sense of relief to have found the incredibly supportive Sparta Global - a company that was determined to help me succeed. My personal transformation, with the help of Sparta, has made me incredibly proud of the person I have become. After university, I really wanted to get into tech, but I wasn’t sure how to do this with my Psychology background. Sparta offered the perfect solution, implementing the business skills I already had, and teaching me the tech skills I needed. They really allowed me to get into tech easily. I didn't go to university – instead studying and graduating from two different colleges in both psychology and music technology. I spent a number of years in various retail and sales roles, but I had a newfound passion for tech and Sparta enabled me to harness that. At school in Romania, Computer science wasn’t really my strongest subject. For this reason I pursued a career in Aviation Technology and Management instead. In my first year of University I did 10 hours of flight training but then Covid drastically impacted the industry. Sparta then offered me an incredible opportunity to train as an SRE for a team deployment with one of their professional services clients. I had no prior coding experience, but I really enjoy how dynamic and mentally rewarding the role is! Women can not only make it in STEM, but can just as successfully switch paths into tech too.
